This year we are returning to an in-person Resident Orientation Event.  It will be held at the Anvil Centre located at 777 Columbia Street, New Westminster, from 8:30am until 4:30PM.  Breakfast and Lunch will be provided, and the day will close with a reception.  For Residents unable to attend in person, a link will be provided so you can attend the speaking sessions virtually.    

The New Members Orientation is intended to welcome our new residents to residency in BC, and introduce you to your Collective Agreement, rights, and benefits, as well as our stakeholders. Please note that this is a mandatory event. We will be providing breakfast and lunch during the event, and a cocktail reception hosted by Doctors of BC will be taking place immediately after.

For information regarding traveling expenses, parking at the event, as well as reimbursement, please contact info@residentdoctorsbc.ca.  We will update you shortly via email with travel reimbursement information for those of you who travel from out of town to attend.  

How To Register

All incoming residents have accounts created on the RDBC website. To finalize your registration to the website, and to RSVP for the Orientation, please click here to and use the email address you provided UBC. You will receive a password link to your email that is active for 24 hours that will allow you to finish registering with RDBC, and allow you to RSVP for the Orientation.

Please use the email you have provided to UBC to register for this event.  Incoming Resident accounts have been created and will be active July 1, 2022.
